About the AMA Pro Pro Singles Championship
Also known as “the stars of tomorrow,” this class is packed with prominent young talent and year after year continues to exceed expectations. The riders of the AMA Pro Pro Singles class are typically younger, but that doesn’t mean they should be overlooked.
During AMA Pro Flat Track event weekends, the Pro Singles race is often decided by the narrowest margin and with as many as nine bikes crossing the finish line within fractions of a second.
The eligible bikes for competition in AMA Pro Pro Singles are the same as those that are allowed in AMA Pro GNC Expert Singles, including recent model years from manufacturers such as Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Suzuki and Yamaha.
New to the sport -- the class was recently initiated in 2009 -- this division was developed to provide a ladder system for younger riders to learn the ropes as they ascend the ranks to the premier AMA Pro Grand National Championship Expert division. However, the fans are catching on and realizing the supreme talent this class has to offer and the tremendous promise the young riders have in store for years to come.
