AMA Pro Racing

2012 - Made just two main event starts. Best performance came at the Illinois State Fairgrounds where he finished 11th place. 

2011 - Russel earned two Top10s, earning a best position of eighth-place at the Illinois State Fairgrounds.  Raced with Monster Energy Kawasaki.

2010 - Russell earned three main event finishes with best finishes of fourth-place at the Springfield Tourist Trophy and a sixth-place finish at the Peoria, Illinois TT.  Raced with Fox Valley Cycles Rogers Lake Racing team.

2009 - Russell qualified for all AMA Pro Grand National Twins main events, with a best finish at Springfield Mile Sept. 6th.  Russell raced in the AMA Pro Grand National Singles Championship with a podium finish at the Peoria TT.  Raced in the AMA Pro National Hot Shoe Series with four Top5 finishes. Raced with Fox Valley Cycles Rogers Lake Racing team.

2008 - Russell earned podium finishes in the AMA?Grand National Twins Championship races at Springfield, Ill. on Aug. 31st and Sept. 1st.  He also took a Top5 finish at Indianapolis, Indiana.  Russell earned a Top10 finish at Springfield, Ill. ST Aug. 30th in the AMA Grand National Singles Championship.  Raced in AMA National Hot Shoe Series with two fourth-place finishes in 750/1000 Expert and 450 Expert classes at Savannah, Georgia.  Raced with Bartel’s Harley-Davidson/Honda team.
