Project K Racing
Waters Autobody Racing, based in Albion, New York, is owned and run by Dave and Rhonda Waters. Also known as Project K, the team has been racing on the AMA Pro Racing Flat Track circuit for several years.
Their passion to bring a non-factory team into the spotlight and race effectively has been achieved. We work hard as a team and have been showcased as a positive impact in the sport of flat track racing. Bringing a non-dominating machine up on the podium week after week, attracting more sport bike enthusiasts, is our goal. It will broaden our sport and increase our sponsors' market share.
We have captured attention in such outlets as AMA Pro Racing and publications including the AMA's Motorcyclist Magazine, Flat Track Today, Motorsports Magazine, Flat Track.com, KTM Talks, etc. Our own website, www.ProjectKRacing.com, hosts fans of the sport and the hype we make within the series.
Project K Racing is very pleased to announce that Rob ''Bugs'' Pearson will be the gun slinger aboard the KTM USA / GE Capital 990 Orange machines at all the AMA Pro Twins events and Riding the KTM SXF-450s at select singles rounds.
Rhonda and Dave Waters, owners of Project K Racing, have this to say - "We are very excited to have Bugs aboard for a full year . Rob has filled in nicely in the past and we see only better results in 2015 . Rob is great to work with and gives very good feed back on set-up and changes in power delivery."
Rob Pearson had this to say - "I'm excited to ride the KTM's for Waters Auto body/ Project K Racing this season. Dave and Rhonda are both a pleasure to work with and I know we have a ton of
potential for 2015. I got some time on the KTM's at the end of last season which gives us a head start on what we can look to improve for this year. The bikes are fast to say the least and I know we can put these orange machines up front. Look forward to seeing everyone at a race this season."
Bikes will be maintained in the Albion NY race shop. All Motor work will be RLJ Racing and race day help will come from Andrew Hobson and Steve Fortunato
