Track - 2014 - Road America

NEWS February 6, 2014

Road America is one of the most historic venues in all of motorsports. Located in Elkhart Lake, Wis., this beautiful track measures in at just over four miles and is the longest on the 2014 calendar. As the second round on the 2014 AMA Pro Road Racing schedule, the classic venue will size up the competition as the summer begins to kick in across the nation.

As he did at many tracks in 2013, Josh Hayes dominated the AMA Pro SuperBike doubleheader weekend at Road America as fans witnessed another action-packed weekend of racing. In AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike, Cameron Beaubier and Jake Gagne split a set of victories and second-place finishes. It was the only event weekend in 2013 that Beaubier didn’t sweep. In AMA Pro SuperSport competition, Corey Alexander had by far his most successful weekend of the season, dominating the competition with two impressive victories. Steve Rapp got back on track at Road America in AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series competition, winning his first of six races in 2013.
