Track - 2014 - Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
NEWS February 27, 2013
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has been a well-deserved mainstay on the American road racing scene since 1962, and the legendary asphalt has seen some of the most exciting racing action in the country. This year’s event at Mid-Ohio, scheduled for the weekend of July 19-20, 2014, will mark the 32nd consecutive year that the series has raced the 2.4-mile circuit nestled in the scenic, rolling hills of Lexington, Ohio.
The venue provides much more than just great racing on a historic racetrack, as it features incredible camping and spectator viewing areas which give the picturesque property a park-like feel.
Former Monster Energy Graves Yamaha teammates Josh Hayes and Josh Herrin split victories in AMA Pro SuperBike competition in 2013. In GoPro Daytona SportBike, Cameron Beaubier was in perfect form as he won both races. Tomas Puerta and Hayden Gillim split victories in AMA Pro SuperSport and Steve Rapp rode his XR1200 to his third consecutive AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series victory in 2013.
