Track - 2013 - Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course has been a well-deserved mainstay on the American road racing scene since 1962, and the legendary asphalt has seen some of the most exciting racing action in the country. This year’s event at Mid-Ohio, scheduled for the weekend of July 12-14, 2013, will mark the 31st consecutive year that the series has raced at the 2.4-mile circuit nestled in the scenic, rolling hills of Lexington, Ohio. The venue provides way more than just great racing on a historic racetrack, as it features incredible camping and spectator viewing areas which give the picturesque property a park-like feel.
Josh Hayes continued his dominance at Mid-Ohio last year, winning both AMA Pro National Guard SuperBike races. Dane Westby and Cameron Beaubier split wins in the AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike division. Dustin Dominguez clearly enjoyed the track as he made a clean sweep of the competition, winning both AMA Pro Motorcycle-Superstore.com SuperSport races in convincing fashion. Tyler O’Hara impressed as he rode his Harley-Davidson with fierce determination and prevailed with a big AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series win.
