Track - 2014 - New Jersey Motorsports Park

NEWS February 28, 2013

When the series rolls into Millville, N.J. on the weekend of September 13-14, 2014, AMA Pro Road Racing will be returning to New Jersey Motorsports Park for the sixth consecutive year of hugely successful SuperBike racing. The 2.2-mile, 14-turn natural road course has been a battlefield for competitors since the gorgeous grounds were added to the schedule in 2009, the track’s second year of operation.

Like they did several times in 2013, Josh Hayes and Josh Herrin split victories in AMA Pro SuperBike competition at NJMP last season. The Monster Energy Yamaha teammates’ rivalry in 2013 was about as intense as it could get and this particular weekend really brought that to light. In GoPro Daytona SportBike, Cameron Beaubier did what he does best, win. Beaubier’s sweep at NJMP in 2013 were his 10th and 11th victories on the year, setting the class record for most wins in a season. In AMA Pro SuperSport, Hayden Gillim and Tomas Puerta each recorded victories while Steve Rapp continued his amazing 2013 campaign with a big AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson Series win.
