From a Press Release Issued by RFC:
Johnstown, Ohio (September 19, 2012) - It is with great disappointment that Ryan Kerr and the Ryan Kerr Racing Team announce that they will be unable to attend the upcoming event at the Homestead-Miami Speedway September 21 – 23. Kerr explains, “We left the New Jersey event with equipment that required a lot of parts and man hours to get back on the track. We were not able to recover with the quick turnaround in the race schedule and are forced to make the decision to sit the Homestead race out. My team looked at several options to get me on the track this weekend and we were unable to finalize any of our options. It’s truly heartbreaking for me as with the limited race schedule I realize that missing just one race removes me from being a top competitor in the series for this season.”
Ryan Kerr and the Ryan Kerr Racing Team are focused on preparing for the final race at NOLA Motorsports Park on October 5 – 7. Kerr states, “I am hopeful that we will be able to have my equipment back on track for the final race this season. I plan on finishing the season strong in spite of the challenges I have faced and appreciate the support of my family and fans. I wish all of the riders at Homestead the best of luck and regret that I will not be on the grid.”
