March 4, 2014 – Roi Holster from Napa Valley will race his first DAYTONA 200 on March 15th, 2014 after competing in AMA Pro SuperSport for the past 3 years. This is the 73rd annual DAYTONA 200 and it is regarded as one of the most prestigious races on the AMA Pro Racing circuit. It is a flat out battle on the banks of Daytona International Speedway for 200 miles, 57 laps with riders reaching speeds up to 175 mph.

“It has taken a lot of prep work in order to compete in this event and at this level,” Holster stated. “From the quick change tire kits to the quick fill dry break fueling system required for the 2 pit stops. Not to mention traveling 3,000 miles away from home with a crew and the knowledge and effort it takes. It’s plain exhausting.”

“A lot of pressure rides on the crew as well. We’ve learned it’s not about what you do right it’s about what you don’t do wrong! A bad pit stop can set you very far back in the race and visa-versa. Practicing pit stops along with dieting and working out for endurance we know this is not going to be an easy race but I look forward to the challenge.”
