May 28, 2014 - Right now I'm on a plane headed to Salt Lake City. A free minute to write my blogs is always something I'm chasing, and it always seems to be the plane rides where my typing fingers can get the most work done.

It's been a long time since our first stop on the 2014 schedule at Daytona, and a lot has happened, all great things. It's safe to say I'm ready to grid up again at Road America, however, and get the remainder of the season under way.

I recently became an instructor for the Yamaha Champions Riding School. The folks there have given me a great opportunity to refine my riding (and coaching) skills, and it's been a great way to stay on a bike the past couple months. YCRS relocated to New Jersey Motorsports Park for this season and foreseeable future. When I found out they were going to be so much closer to my home in NY, I did everything I could to be a part of their program. I want to personally thank each and every one of the people there for being so helpful and fun to work with!

So back to Salt Lake City - the reason I'm headed out there is to go ride at Miller Motorsports Park. Just yesterday I was able to announce an extended partnership between KWR and Millennium Technologies, which will allow me to compete in the remainder of the AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike series. I'll be testing my brand new Yamaha YZF-R6 to shake it down for Road America next weekend.

As much as I've been racing in the AMA Pro Road Racing series, I find it interesting that since my first season in 2009, I haven't been able to compete at every single round for an entire season straight. Whether it was injury, funding, or logistical barriers - one of my goals for this season is to race at every single round. So far I'm set up to be racing at every round in two different classes, and I'm very grateful for all of my sponsors that have allowed me to do so.

With less than a week until our next race in Elkhart Lake, I'm very busy getting all of the crew flights together, setting up the schedules and logistics for everyone, finishing up last minute parts orders and getting my mind and body ready to go racing. I'm more ready to get back on track after the long break and can't wait to see my extended racing family next week at the track.

Hope to see you all soon! Check out my fan page at for more updates, photos, and full race videos once broadcasted on!
