(June 10, 2014) - Ryan Kerr is quickly proving that he will be a top competitor in the AMA Pro Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series. Kerr transitioned from the AMA Pro SuperBike class last season and is ready for the challenge of racing the Kyle Wyman fielded XR 1200 Harley Davidson machine. Kerr states, “I am honored to have this opportunity and my goal is to learn and improve at every event and reach the top spot at the Podium.”
It was apparent after the weekend qualifying results and the Sunday race finish that Ryan Kerr is adjusting to his new endeavor and he is up for the challenge. Kerr’s talent and ambition positioned him with an 8th place qualifying spot in the 3rd row off the grid. Aboard his XR 1200 machine, Kerr mastered the challenging Road America Course and finished the race in the 6th place position. An excited Kerr explains, “It felt great to be competing with the top guys and I am excited to advance in such a prestigious arena and strive to become a top rider in the class.” Ryan Kerr is counting on a full weekend of great results at the next AMA Pro Road Racing event at Barber Motorsports Park, Birmingham, Alabama on June 21 - 22.”
Finally, Ryan Kerr would like to send out a special thanks to his new sponsor, Thunder Roads Magazine. “I look forward to a becoming a part of the Thunder Roads family and appreciate their support!
